Line matching — training
Practise using this tool. This warm-up is not scored and is not part of any test.
What this tool does
Draw a connecting line from each expression to its equal value.
This is a tool warm-up, not a test. It shows you how the tool works — there is no score and nothing here counts toward your mastery.
What you'll learn
Connect a left item to a right item, and change a connection.
How to use it
- Pick an item on the left. A line will follow it once you connect.
- Pick the matching value on the right to draw the connection line.
- Pick a connected item again to change where its line goes.
- You never have to draw a line by hand — the connection is the pick-then-pick.
Connections are made by picking a left item then a right item. The drawn line is decorative; the connection is announced in text.
Try it yourself
- Connect “2 + 2” to its value “4”.
- On your own: Now connect “3 × 2” to “6” as well.
Now: Connect “2 + 2” to its value “4”.
Pick an item on the left, then pick its match on the right. Pick a connected item again to change its match.
Pick an expression on the left, then pick its equal value on the right.
