What ShowMe Math by MathNexa does not do

• MathNexa manages account access. The learning app does not receive or store your MathNexa password or session credentials.
• No advertising is shown, ever.
• No analytics, tracking, telemetry, or third-party scripts run on this site.
• There is no backend student database. Nothing is stored on a server.
• No data is sold, shared, or sent anywhere. There is nowhere for it to be sent.

Where student practice evidence lives

When a student practices, their progress and results are saved only in the current browser on the current device, as local browser storage. This evidence never leaves the device — the site makes no network request to save it, because there is no server to save it to.

Profiles on a shared device use nicknames the student chooses. ShowMe Math by MathNexa does not add an email address, password, birthdate, real name, or school ID to practice evidence.

Importing results into Teacher Tools

A teacher can import a practice-result file that a student exported. That file is read and processed entirely inside the teacher's own browser — it is not uploaded anywhere.

The name of the imported file is not persisted. Only the anonymous practice evidence inside the file is kept, and only in the teacher's local browser storage on that device.

Clearing local data

Because everything is stored locally, clearing your browser data — history, site data, or storage for this site — may remove saved practice progress and any imported evidence. This cannot be undone from within the site, because the site keeps no copy anywhere else.

You can clear this site's local data at any time by either:

• using your browser's “Clear browsing data” or “Clear site data” controls for this site, or
• removing local storage for this site through your browser's site-settings or developer tools.

Shared and classroom devices

On a shared or classroom device, more than one person's local practice evidence can be present in the same browser. Teachers should follow their school or district privacy procedures for shared devices — for example, clearing local site data between users when appropriate. ShowMe Math by MathNexa cannot enforce this, because it stores practice evidence locally and has no central learner roster to separate users.

Your progress and Data Insights

The Data Insights page summarises the progress of whoever is using this device — a learner, or a teacher or parent working directly with one. It is a personal view, not a class roster: there is no student table, no school account, and no teacher-to-learner assignment. It needs no name, email, birthday, school, or class, and it works fully offline.

Everything it shows is derived from the practice evidence already saved in this browser. Your mastery states are recalculated from that evidence each time — they are not a separate record and not a grade.

From Data Insights you can export your progress to a file you keep (nothing is uploaded), or reset your progress to remove your practice, mastery, completed lessons, and tool training from this device. Reset cannot be undone, and it does not change your display settings, language, or the ShowMe curriculum.

ShowMe Math by MathNexa is an independently developed educational resource. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Missouri DESE, Data Recognition Corporation, NWEA, or any assessment provider. It is not an official MAP assessment.
