What you'll learn
Add positive and negative tiles and make a zero pair.
How to use it
- Add a positive tile (+1 or +x) from the toolbar.
- Add a negative tile (−1 or −x).
- A positive and a negative of the same kind make a zero pair.
Algebra tiles are board objects labelled +1, −1, +x, −x, added from the toolbar.
Try it yourself
- Add a +1 tile.
- On your own: Now add a −1 tile to make a zero pair.
